This is an Act to consolidate with amendments the law on fisheries, to provide for the regulation and management of fisheries, for the development of the fishing industry and the sustainable exploitation of fishery resources and for related matters. The law regulates the exploitation and development of the fisheries resources of Ghana and covers the establishment of Fisheries Commission and its administration and financial provisions. It further elaborates on Fisheries Development Fund and fisheries management and development.
