Ghana’s natural ecosystems have declined drastically in the last 50 years. Its biodiversity has been threatened with rapid degradation mainly from anthropogenic sources. These have resulted in the decline and often loss of the population of fauna and flora biodiversity that are closely associated with these ecosystems.
