Conservation of Biological Diversity
Ghana's strategy for the conservation of biological diversity is based on some key issues, which have been outlined below

The following issues have been considered in the strategy:
- Acquisition, compilation and dissemination of scientific knowledge and information;
- Outlining programmes and activities aimed at conserving biological diversity;
- Getting all stakeholders involved in conservation measures;
- Making resources, including finance available for the conservation of biological diversity;
- Building relevant capacity for effective management of biological diversity;
- Monitoring and evaluating biodiversity management strategies at all levels.
