• Outlining programmes and activities aimed at conserving biological diversity;

• Getting all stakeholders involved in conservation measures;

• Making resources, including finance available for the conservation of biological diversity;

• Building relevant capacity for effective management of biological diversity;

• Monitoring and evaluating biodiversity management strategies at all levels.
