UNEP has been partnering with Ghana in the implementation of the CBD and also provides leadership and guidance in caring for the environment by inspiring, informing, and enabling nations and people to improve their quality of life without compromising that of future generations. Currently UNEP is assisting Ghana in the review of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action and in carrying out the Biosafety implementation project.
