Focus Group Workshop On Draft National Biodiversity Strategy And Action Plan (NBSAP)
Ghana is currently in the process of reviewing its NBSAP and the process has got to the stage where focus group discussions are being held on the draft document.

Ghana is working making efforts to complete its draft strategies and action plans on Biodiversity. The Strategy highlights “Taxonomy, Invasive Alien Species, Agricultural Biodiversity, Legal and Policy, Traditional knowledged Socio-economics. The review will also include the Aichi targets and the 2020 Strategic Plan. The working group will also complete the Fifth National Report on Biodiversity. This will be done first before the NBSAP is completed.
Ghana is being supported by UNEP-GEF and the NBSAP Forum.
