The conference is being run as a series of eight half-day symposia. In consultation with both academics and practitioners, the content of each symposium has been chosen to tackle difficult issues at the heart of applying spatial ecology to conservation. Importantly, the structure of each symposium has been explicitly designed to facilitate real dialogue between academics and practitioners. There is also half a day built into the meeting to allow delegates to attend FREE training and demonstration workshops, or to network with new and existing colleagues.
