HerpNET is a collaborative effort by natural history museums to establish a global network of herpetological collections data funded by the National Science Foundation and GBIF DIGIT grant. The mission of the HerpNET project is to bring 300 years of accumulated knowledge of the diversity of amphibians and reptiles on Earth into currency for science and society.
