University of Ghana has evolved into one of the leading universities in Africa, recognised worldwide for its excellent academic and research activities. The University’s Annual Research Report, which was introduced in the last academic year, provides an opportunity to showcase some of our achievements in research and related activities. Although challenged by limited research facilities and financial resources, the University strives to create an appropriate enabling environment for research by investing significantly in human capital and high-end science equipment.
